The Spanish coasts offer opportunities to practice all kinds of water sports, not only because of the climate but also for the extraordinary quality of their beaches and facilities, which include schools and courses for virtually any aquatic sport you want to learn. This two-and-a-half-minute video covers the possibilities for sailing, powerboating, waterskiing, scuba and snorkeling, sea kayaking, and wind and kite surfing. Tarifa, at the southern tip of Spain is the European hotspot for these board sports.

Scuba diving and snorkling attract underwater types to special venues such as Almería’s Cabo de Gata and the Baeleric Islands. Sailing and powerboating are almost universally available, along with water skiing. On a Spanish holiday you’re never far from a challenging and fun aquatic experience!
